Museum Description
The Peoria Central School Museum was built in 1906 the double classroom school building houses the
Peoria Central School Museum. The South classroom features
vignettes of early Peoria families and life styles.
The Peoria Agricultural Museum was built circa 1910 the Peoria Agricultural Museum contains
displays of Cotton Farming and Ginning, a Blacksmith Shop,
Dairy Farming and Sheep HerdŽing in the early days of Peoria.
Restoration of this building was accomplished with financial
support of Salt River Project, City of Peoria and Charley Gyder/Wilhelm Garage.
The Peoria Jail House Museum was built in the mid 1930's, as a WPA Project, the old Jail House was restored in 2002 to its 1938 decor with funds and hard work from members of the Peoria Arizona Historical Society.
